July 11sth Tournament largemouth/smallmouth event

due to covid restrictions we will be having CONTROLLED blastoff and weigh-in

The following outlines changes to the QFS rules for blast off and weigh-in. All other QFS rules continue to apply.

The following rules are mandated by the Hasting Prince Edward Public Health Unit.  Violation of these rules will put future QFS tournaments in jeopardy; therefore, any angler in violation of these rules will immediately be disqualified.  All QFS committee members have been given the right to disqualify anglers if they are breaking heath regulations. The city of Belleville is closing Herchimer boat ramp to the public for the morning launch.

  1.  Masks are Mandatory until blast-off and during weigh-in.
  2. ALL BOASTS MUST LAUNCH FROM HERCHIMER NO EXCEPTIONS!
  3. There can be no more than 5 boats launching at Herchimer at a time.
  4. You can arrive a maximum of 15 minutes before your launch window, but you must park on Keegan Parkway and remain with your vehicle until your launch time. No contact with other teams will be allowed.
  5. Boat checks will be completed, once you launch, at the dock at Herchimer.
  6. City by-law officers have been enforcing parking passes this year. If you do not have a season parking pass, ensure you have the correct change ($6) to use the parking machine. If you do not display a pass you may receive a parking ticket.   If you wish to purchase a season pass, follow the link provided: https://www.belleville.ca/en/learn-and-play/boat-launches.aspx
Boat LaunchesThe City of Belleville operates two boat launches on the City’s waterfront. Learn more about the boat launches and where you can purchase a boat ramp pass.www.belleville.ca

You will be given a staging time,  launch time and blastoff time through an email.  You will also be given a weigh in time.

If you miss your window you will have to wait until all boats have launched at 8:20. Your weigh-in time will not be adjusted.

Weigh-in is at George Street

  1. All anglers will check in at the Canadian Flag on the point.
  2. After you have checked-in, proceed towards the west dock.  You will be directed when you can dock to weigh your fish by the official on the dock.
  3. Please bring your own bag.
  4. You must wear your mask during the weigh-in process.
  5. Once you have weighed your fish and received your ticket you and your partner are to clear the dock and ramp area.

A live link of the scoreboard will be available on the website the day of the tournament.
